I wondered who kept breaking my bird feeders, so I deployed a spy camera in an attempt to catch the culprit in the act. Episode 1 did not result in enough evidence, and neither did Episode 2 and neither did Episode 3 so here are some more recent results.
At 4:13 am on August 3, a suspicious looking masked intruder showed up at the bird feeder and within seconds had climbed to the top.
The weight of the raccoon made the bird feeder lean.
The deer stops watching the raccoon and goes back to eating.
The raccoon is on the ground with only the reflection of the flash from his eye visible and the bird feeder is leaning almost to the ground. That raccoon needs to lose some weight if he can bend a 3/8 inch iron rod.
